Fresh Cuts Art Exhibition.

So excited to be a part of this international collage exhibition at The Electric Picture House in Cheshire U.K.

I am exhibiting 2 pieces from The Pinup series ( see above –  Exploited. Mixed Media Collage made with vintage diaries, letters and scrap paper.)

The works reflect the exploitation of women, especially in the film / media industries and how beauty is judged as a book cover. There is also an echo of post punk influences and graffiti..I wanted to make Marilyn alternative, in particular into a punk..I wonder if she had lived today and was, would she had been such a huge Icon?
